The American Dream, Built from Scratch
El Toro Loco Supermarkets symbolize the essence of the American Dream. Our journey begins in the small town of Lost Hills, California. In 1998, Mike Hussein, an immigrant from Yemen, made the bold decision to relocate from Detroit to Lost Hills in pursuit of launching his first business.
Through unwavering dedication, he transformed his modest 2,000 square foot establishment into a thriving enterprise. Mike would later be joined by his brother Alex Hussein and son Joseph Hussein. Together, the family united their efforts and propelled El Toro Loco Supermarkets to become a respected name in the industry.
For more than 25 years, El Toro Loco Supermarkets has maintained a steadfast corporate ethos centered around family values, service excellence, cleanliness, and a commitment to delivering top-notch food products at competitive prices.
